Pain
Written for a lot of Christian women who hold physical, sexual, and mental past memories stored in their precious broken heart. Most abused do not want to talk but hold it inside. For those that can't relate, read this poem and
maybe you can: Maybe you can be the one that helps a sister recover, and let them know they are free and loved by yourself and our Almighty Savior.
Held with fear as I listen with regret
What will happen, will it reminisce the pain of times before?
Will the desire of the devil torment my soul?
What was done to reward such evil?
Who can I share theses nasty truths to?
They will ignore or justify
They will say I lie
Nightmare, reenactments captivate the soul
They want release but are trapped deep within
The one I know and love, a true example of friendly fire
Love so violated, I cannot forget
Happiness is of last resort, pain is what I vent
The evil love will it ever end, and be captured
Capture the accused that took the innocent
They chewed and threw it away and left it alone to fear and grieve
Speak and let the horrors be seen
No longer listen and sit in fear
Alone for now but a believer will appear
Tell a sister for she is near, and ready and able to share the tears
Hold on tight it is a shocking ride, the pain will be lifted
no need to hide

Hope
By L. Haynes
Oh Christian women arise for a new start
Shred clothes of unneeded shame
Someone shattered your heart, but you are not the blame
They are the ones they are of this earth
Your so strong and of high worth
God loves you and wants the best
Do not settle for anything less
Look toward the day of eternal rest
Where there is no pain
Only sunshine after the rain
Use your pain as strength
Jesus holds out his arms full length
He calls your name
Put away self blame and shame
God loves us all the same
