I Am Not Ashamed

Christianity comes easy

For Americans today

But it's a different story

For those in countries far away.

We can worship freely

As we sit there in our pews

But they must worship in secret

Or their very lives they'll lose.

This brings me to the point

Of these verses you now read

Will you witness for Him, unashamed

When others would suffer and bleed?

God's not asking much of you

But to be available when He calls

Don't be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ

Be ready to share it with all.

It's the power of God unto salvation

We carry it within our hearts

Won't you open up your lips

His message to impart?
